Please welcome... Lucky Draw Unicron!

The latest addition to my collection...

Lucky Draw Green Unicron!
I won't unveil how much I paid it, but I'll say I paid it the right price, considering its rarity and awesomeness.

This elusive item is also known as:
Shining Unicron
Unicron of light
Shining Unicron of Light

while Green Unicron seems to be the official name, due to the contest advertisement using this name. This Lucky Draw contest could be entered by sending a postcard included in the Micron Legend Year Book 2003. The first prize was 1 out of 10 Green Unicrons. Get your copy today! :-D

Well, now that Green Unicron joined my shelves, I guess i can finally say it: I currently have the world's first Armada and minicon collection. Well, it was time :-D Of course, I expect anybody to contradict me as soon as possible, so that I'll get new motivations for improving my invincible Armada ;-)

Thanks to my friend an colletor extraordinaire Puffmarko for supporting me during all these months of waiting.

Thanks to the TF@themoon guys for giving me the final moral boost to get this uber rare, and uber expensive item.

Thanks to my cousin Benares and to our friend Gianni for making this happen one month in advance.

Thanks to Anamix, from the Autorobot.it forum for suggesting me this purchase one year ago.

Thanks to Nico, the shadowy figure behind my colletion's making, for helping me out with his biblic patience.

Thanks to my mother for NOT paying for an expensive toy in my behalf, differently from what happens to some other "collector" I know.

Thanks to Jazzy Zx from TFW20005 for making me a great favour with his photoshop skills. You will easily understand which pic I am talking about ;-)

Last but not least, thanks to the 2 lamers I know who purchased LD Unicron's minicon separately from Unicron, thus ruining this incredibly rare and awesome figure: thanks to your silly efforts, now my Unicron is more valuable than before. Thanks!

And now, enjoy the pictures!

Space Galaxy Team review

The Space Galaxy Team is known to be the rarest minicon team of them all: indeed, it is. Only 400 of each minicon were made, and to get one of the 3 microns you had to purchase an expensive Micron Legend Convoy toy, the Japanese equivalent of Armada Superbase Optimus Prime, which costed around 50$, so that to complete a team you had to spend AT LEAST 150$! As you can imagine, a complete team is quite hard to come by. I only know of other 3 people having a complete team, and probably many of those 400 teams will never be completed. Quite frustrating, especially if you only own 2 of the 3 micron.
This version of the Armada Destruction team is also known as the Oreo Cookie Team, because of the colors. Well, it's not so right... there's some metallic blue involved, as well ^_^'
Buzzsaw is Wheel, Drillbit is Crush and Dualor is Duster. All 3 of them wonderfully complement Energon Cyclonus or Superlink Sandstorm, as if they were specifically made for this, within years of distance since respective releases.

Enjoy the pictures!

As you can imagine, I highly recommend getting this set, regardless of its expensiveness. Once you get it, you'll understand why it's so expensive. Well, all of this if you actually manage to get one for yourself, of course.

Here we go again...

Hi there! I'm Alessandro, better known as Rikkomba.
My previous blog, transformersarmada.blogspot.com, has been deleted.
My fault.
I went for a change, deleting a couple old gmal accounts... and my old blog was made using one of them. I found no way to recover my blog, so here we are. Luckily, this time I already have a photobucket account ready with all the pictures I need, so it won't take me much time to recover past stuff, in some way.
Enjoy your stay.
Cordialmente,

Rikkomba
